Candidate eligibility to enroll for Bhakti Shastri

  • Basic Shastric knowledge and understanding.
  • The practice of Krishna consciousness for at least one year
  • A recommendation letter from an ISKCON Authority/ temple president who knows the candidate well.
  • Though not mandatory, students are expected to have read all four books (Bhagavad Gita, Nectar of Devotion, Nectar of Instruction and Isopanishad) at least once
