BHAKTI-ŚĀSTRĪ degree program comprises of six courses
The course is methodically structured with specific objectives to be accomplished, including the enhancement of scriptural knowledge and understanding, the cultivation and sustenance of faith and conviction, and the improvement of one's capability to effectively propagate the teachings.
- Sri Isopanishad (ISO)
- Nectar of Instruction (NOI)
- Nectar of Devotion (NOD)
- Bhagavad Gita – Chapters 1-6 (BG1)
- Bhagavad Gita – Chapters 7-12 (BG2)
- Bhagavad Gita – Chapters 13-18 (BG3)

Candidate eligibility for BHAKTI-ŚĀSTRĪ Degree
- Basic Shastric knowledge and understanding.
- The practice of Krishna consciousness for at least one year (chanting 16 rounds, following regulative principles)
- A recommendation letter from an ISKCON Authority/ temple president who knows the candidate well.
- Though not mandatory, students are expected to have read all four books (Bhagavad Gita, Nectar of Devotion, Nectar of Instruction and Isopanishad) at least once
BHAKTI-ŚĀSTRĪ - listener category
If, for any reason, you do not meet the eligibility criteria stated above, or are unwilling to take the required assessments, you have the option to attend the program in the listener category. By selecting this option, you will still have access to the entire course content, including live lectures, recordings, and other relevant materials, thereby enabling you to gain valuable insights and knowledge from the study of shastras. However, no certificate will be issued.
